Henry David Thoreau needed to go to Walden Pond for two years and two months to gain a deeper appreciation of nature and John Muir wandered the high Sierra Mountains for years and said "over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity" ...

Well, you can begin learn to connect with nature like Thoreau and Muir right here in sOUTh jersey and in just two hours - plenty of time to get back to our mad worlds!

Take a mental health break and discover the “deeply natural experience” provided by nature at the Connecting with Nature: Soul to Soul, hosted by Ecopsychologist Bonnie Hart at Palmyra Cove Nature Park on Sunday, March 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Participants will explore various methods of connecting with nature, including guided meditation and rock divination and learn how to tune into the most basic support system, the Earth.

The workshop will conclude with a short nature walk.
